Car changing is a big deal
The funky Vauxhall Mokka just got even more appealing with a new £29,495 price tag.
Vauxhall has just slashed the price of its popular electric SUV. The Mokka Electric Griffin Edition starts from £29,495, which is £7,115 less than the current entry-level model. You’ll be able to order this new version of the Mokka Electric from 17 April.
You might think Vauxhall has done this by stripping out a load of equipment, but the Griffin Edition actually offers more tech than the current base Design trim. You get a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reversing camera, heated seats and a heated steering wheel as standard.

Step outside and you’ll find a contrasting black roof, something you don’t get on the Design version, and you can have metallic paint at no extra cost as well. That would usually set you back a further £700.
The introduction of this new Griffin Edition means the Vauxhall Mokka Electric is now around £5,000 cheaper than the mechanically similar Peugeot E-2008, and it’s over £6,000 less than a Kia Niro EV. The Honda e:Ny1 is a whopping £10,000 more expensive as well, despite having a recent price reduction.
If you buy a new Vauxhall EV then you’ll also benefit from one year of free charging credit at Tesco stores across the country, and you also get Vauxhall’s Plug and Go package. This includes an eight-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty and three years of roadside assistance for added peace of mind.
